The week before the Thanksgiving holiday, we had an awesome giveaway of a fresh, never frozen, free range, all natural turkey from California courtesy of The Meat House. The winner, Norma Jean, a local comedienne and actress, was super excited to claim her prize. Her local turkey was tender, juicy and had that real old-fashioned turkey flavor that you can actually taste.

Support future stars in the restaurant industry by attending 50 Forks Restaurant charity lunch Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Art Institute of California – Orange County in Santa Ana. The culinary arts students are working hard to make their first restaurant event a huge success, and it benefits Santa Ana based Isaiah House supporting low income women and children in Orange County. 50 Forks, which features contemporary cuisine, is a bistro run by students at the Art Institute.
It’s open for lunch 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday; and open for dinner 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Reservations are recommended.
